To whom it may concern,
Martin came to housesit for us for 6 days in February 2014. He was responsible for a rural cottage on 1.5 hectare of land. This included the upkeep of the house, feeding of cat, flock of 30 chickens, 2 muscovy ducks and a large kunekune pig.
I was very pleased with the way Martin took care of the house; washing sheets and vacuuming floors before he left. The house was left clean and tidy.
The outdoor animals were well fed and their water containers were clean and filled.He watered the vegetable garden for which we are most grateful in the hot and very dry summer.
Martin is a responsible and exceptionally well organized person. He is most reliable in his correspondence and expects the same of his clients. He takes particular care to communicate before, during and after the housesit.
I would therefore recommend Martin to you.

If you had a score higher than a 5 for all area's I would have marked it 5++++++ - we arrived back last night after nearly 3 weeks to a home that was spotless in more ways that we could imagine - the windows cleaned, the entire house immaculate, the gardens weeded, the floor mats washed, unbelievable...
My husband who is not the easiest man to impress and not the most trusting of having someone in our home has been RAVING about Martin since he handed over and we collectively cannot speak highly enough about Martin given his professionalism, his care of our cat Sam, his dedication to honoring our home.
We would have Martin back in a heartbeat and will put the offer to Martin in future for any-time we are away - we are sitting here in our home today, present to it being cared for in a way we could not even have imagined - so if you are looking for a house-sitter that exceeds ALL expectation do not look further than Martin Gray.
Thank you Martin for everything you did during our time away we are literally blown away by your services. You exemplify what it means to be a professional! Thank you just does not cut it!

Martin Gray has house sat our 10 acre lifestyle block on at least 10 occasions over the past 3 1/2 yrs.
Sits have varied from 10 days to 5 weeks, during which he has taken care of our home and animals (pigs, cats, sheep and miniature horses) very well. We're saddened that Martin is unavailable 2 us due 2 his travels, but we would strongly recommend him for any house-sitting position he applies for.

Martin is the most efficient, reliable and trustworthy house sitter I have ever had. We've used him several times both in our new home and previous one. He takes excellent care of my property and I feel safe with him in it.
My cat loves him and I often find the house tidier than when I left!

I have known Martin Gray for over ten years. He has house sat for me on a number of occasions.
He is trustworthy, reliable, honest and conscientious, and leaves a minimal 'footprint'.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Martin was a repeat House-sitter & Pet-sitter for us over a period of years. we even flew him from New Zealand to our home in Australia once.
He is trustworthy, calm and efficient.
Highly recommend him to any householder especially where pets requiring medication are concerned.

Martin is very reliable and goes the extra mile, both with your house and the animals he cares for.
He is extremely tidy and will do extra work, just to make your day.
We loved the feedback and photos he sent us while we were away.

Excellent house-sitter! Most attentive to details and general "house rules."
Not one problem and he also went beyond his mandate, tidying up if he felt the necessity.

Martin looked after our property exceptionally well (on 2 occasions).
He kept it clean and was welcoming on our return.
He was dependable and we had every confidence in him
